In Q2 2024, the physics puzzle genre on iOS has shown varying trends among the top titles in the US. Sensor Tower's data provides a window into the performance of these engaging games.

Angry Birds 2 by Rovio Entertainment Oyj, a long-standing favorite, saw its revenue fluctuating but peaking at $595K in early May. Downloads dipped from 468K in the first week of April to 147K by the end of June, with weekly active users (WAU) also decreasing from 5.7M to 3.3M in the same period.

Rollic Games' title, Screw Jam, experienced a significant revenue surge to $1.27M in the second week of June. The game's downloads were modest, growing from 2K to 35K, while WAUs saw an increase from 53K to 140K by the quarter's end.

The newcomer Wood Nuts: Screw Puzzle from Dino Global Studio had a strong quarter, with revenue climbing to $550K mid-June and downloads peaking at 1.8M in late April. WAUs showed a healthy uptrend, ending at 2.7M in the last week of June.

Wood Nuts & Bolts Puzzle by ABIGAMES PTE. LTD saw consistent revenue, with a peak at $418K in early May. Downloads reached a high of 714K in late April, while WAUs showed a slight decrease from 3.7M to 2.5M over the quarter.

Lastly, Angry Birds Friends, also from Rovio Entertainment Oyj, maintained steady revenue with a peak at $357K in mid-April. Downloads hovered around the low tens of thousands, and WAUs ended the quarter at 212K, down from 391K at the start.
